Happy Thanksgiving
It's been an insanely busy couple of months here at iLike. Between working on the iLike application on Facebook, improving the Sidebar for iTunes and Windows Media Player, and integrating iLike with multiple new social networks such as Orkut, Bebo, and others... there has been a lot to do!
We keep some sanity around the office by having some fun... and sometimes making a little noise. This week's quote of the week captures a little piece of it. Hadi, our President & COO was a concerned about the noise in the office and asked us:
"I want to get a sense of how the group feels about the noise level in the office (for me this includes
things like flying helicopters, the rock band playing after 5, or dogs spinning around growling, or anything at similar volume levels)."
I for one am thankful this Thanksgiving for working at a cool enough place for such a question to arise. Happy Thanksgiving from iLike.
-Aydin
Ahah: each time I read your quotes of the week I wonder: "is this funny?".

Any update on the iLike plugin for Leopard? Since I upgraded, I've missed it. :-(

Al, we have already made the Leopard version of the iLike Sidebar available, a few weeks ago. You can get it at http://iLike.com/download

I wasn't sure where else to go with this, but a lot of people are having issues with ilike on Facebook and it seems like not much is being done to fix it. My biggest concern is that many of the songs/clips are losing their audio. People aren't thrilled that half of their playlists are gone. Is there a reason for this problem? Is anyone working to fix it?

Well, I never got an email about this! And the plug-in itself said "We will update you automatically when a new version is available."
And what if I didn't happen to check the blog today?
There are plenty of other people that are in the same boat as I once was. Spread the word or automatically update the rest of the lot as your application promised.
