We just released a number of improvements to iLike.com:
1) You can now "Save for later" any song on the Web site
A lot of users have asked for the ability to save a song for later. This makes it much easier to read through recommendations in your inbox and save the tracks you like. Or when you're browsing the page of an artist or another user, if you like the music you hear, you can save it to your wishlist. You can always find these songs under "My Wishlist"
2) Early support for Windows Media Player
We aren't broadcasting this yet, it's only announced on this blog, but if you use Windows Media Player and want to build a profile on iLike.com, just download the iLike Sidebar for iTunes and it will automatically work with Windows Media Player as well. Note: we have no user interface on Windows Media Player, we just invisibly build your online profile to share your tastes using iLike
Fun stuff
We had a lot of "quotes of the week" in the past few weeks through the holidays. However, by far the best quote came from Darian (again). At our team offsite, we had a long brainstorm about different ideas to help the company grow revenue. After hearing everybody else's ideas, Darian jumped in to add his "I have a very similar idea, except one that will actually make money". Darian isn't actually as arrogant as that sounds, but he was very excited about his idea; he's a college student, so he can get away with it :-).
Finally, the most recent batch of iPod winners from our daily iPod giveaway contest. Congrats to all of you, and please update your profiles with a photo! :-)

So, we can win an iPod just by using the iTunes plugin?
Are the winners selected by some crazy guy's dad's algorithm too, or just at random?
