iLike Has Five -- No, Wait! -- Six Million Registered Users

Adding 300,000 New Users a Day , iLike Becomes Web’s Fastest-Growing Music Service

SEATTLE – June 11, 2007 – iLike, inc is now the Web’s fastest-growing music service, with over six million registered users and adding a million more every few days.

iLike’s website (www.iLike.com) has registered over three million users since launching in October 2006, and is now adding about one million more per month. This growth has been recently augmented by the explosive success of the company’s new application for Facebook®, signing three million new users since launching just over two weeks ago.

iLike launched a comprehensive music app on Facebook Platform and debuted as the most popular application built by another company for the site. The iLike application allows Facebook users to:

  • Learn when their favorite artists are going on tour and see who else is attending.
  • Search and add streaming music and music videos to their Facebook profile.
  • Discover new music via personalized recommendations of free MP3s.

“iLike is on track to becoming the dominant music service for the Facebook community,” said Ali Partovi, CEO of iLike, inc. “Facebook Platform represents an opportunity of epic proportions, and we’re transforming our business to focus on it.”

Facebook is a social utility that helps people communicate and share information more efficiently. Launched on May 24, 2007, Facebook Platform is a development system that enables companies to build applications for the Facebook website, where millions of users can interact with them.
