iLike’s new Concert app for MySpace artist pages empowers you to upgrade to a better concert experience in just a few clicks.
As you are painfully aware, MySpace calendar listings don’t offer buy links and they aren’t visually pleasing or socially engaging. With the new iLike Concert app for MySpace, you’ll do the following:
• Make Money: We prominently display “get tickets” links to help you sell more tickets.
• Save Time: You can now manage your event calendar listings from the iLike Artist Dashboard and simultaneously reach MySpace users as well your fans across the Web via syndication to Facebook, iGoogle, iTunes, and more. Further, we automatically import data from the Ticketmaster and TicketWeb feeds.
• Connect With More Fans Online: Our Concert app provides robust and feature-rich event detail pages. You’ll get powerful social hooks on every event detail page including the ability for fans to see which friends are going or want to go to a show. The event detail pages feature a venue map and suggest nearby restaurants and bars.
• Create Your Own Look: You can customize the look and feel so that your concert listings fit with the design of your existing MySpace page.
• Make Informed Business Decisions: Via the iLike Artist Dashboard you’ll get access to meaningful stats designed to help you make business decisions.
Getting started is so simple – it literally takes just a few clicks to add the new iLike Concert App to your MySpace page. Bring your concert listings to life and manage your concert listings across the Web via a single dashboard at: http://www.myspace.com/iLikeconcerts
Heads Up: Facebook Making Changes (AGAIN)
While we’ve got your attention, we want to make sure you know about the changes Facebook has made to their musician page layouts and what these changes mean for you.
With the new Facebook Page layout, users who are not fans will see the "Boxes" sub-tab of your Artist Page when they land on your page. Because the “Boxes” sub-tab will now receive a massive increase in visits from potential fans, you should add all of the iLike widgets (Concerts, Songs, etc) to help turn this traffic into new fans and more money. If you haven’t, check out the iLike widgets for Facebook at http://www.ilike.com/manage.
These changes emphasize your "Wall" tab which is Facebook’s latest direction. We recommend you keep your default setting which sends users to your Boxes sub-tab. It gives you the greatest control over the layout of your page, placing your content front and center for fans to see when they visit your page. This ends up being better for you and for your fans.
And stay tuned because we are working on a "tab" version of iLike that you’ll be able to include on your Facebook page.
which Facebook default settings? I find it very hard to get around there.

Kahuna, yes, Facebook's settings are always difficult to navigate.

I added the ilike concert app but it only displays 25 tour dates. The band I work for curently has 35 dates that need to be seen. Any way to expand this app to allow more dates to be seen?

Also, I would like to use this app on my website, that would make the app truly useful, is it possible???
Best regards, Ocean

An app or widget for concerts on my website would be a great help for unsigned bands.

Is there any possible way to move this iLike concert widget on Myspace? I have seen the help FAQ but even our web designer found it impossible to get the code that was given, to work. Where do we go, to insert the code, to give it an absolute position? Editing musician details does absolutely nothing, except show the code. This has been an absolutely frustrating matter that we can't seem to get to the bottom to. Help!

I'm very sorry you are having difficulty moving this module around on your MySpace page. The MySpace Artist Page for Kenny Chesney http://www.myspace.com/kennychesney is a good reference example. Hopefully the source code and CSS for that page proves helpful.
We're actively working with MySpace to try and improve this experience. We recognize it sucks and it needs to be easier.

Do you guys plan on offering this widget to put on our website?
To everyone else, I wouldn't suggest not trying to move it on myspace since it expands according to content. If you absolute position it it will hide anything behind it as it grows or have a huge gap below when there's not many shows (like the kenny chesney page). Just my suggestion. I left it where it was and still works good I think. Check it out here: http://www.myspace.com/jackketchkills

Help! iLike's MySpace Concerts app has cut off some of the concert dates that were entered into the Artist Dashboard. Any ideas on a solution?

What is the purpose of entering in DETAILS about the concert if they are not even VIEWABLE??? Shouldn't FANS see WHO you are playing with as well??
